How to Have fun with Blackjack As a Vendor

In this article I will tell you how to play Blackjack as a dealer. Blackjack is a game of skill and can be played in many different ways. One way is to sit at the table, deal the cards, and deal with them again. This is a slow process that takes a long time to learn and master. Another way is to play online and through software that does all of the work for you.

As a dealer in a live casino you are the ‘house’ and have all the cards and chips. As an online Blackjack player you are only responsible for your hand. How you play depends entirely on your perception of the other players and how well you ‘read’ them. You need to be able to make quick decisions under pressure and know when to fold, bet, or bluff.

As a Blackjack dealer in a live casino you are going to be playing against other dealers. As such, it is important to stay focused and ‘on the same page’. As a dealer you have several alternatives for how to play. As long as you follow the basics of playing Blackjack the same way in any hand you will win.

When you are first starting out as a Blackjack dealer you need to get comfortable with your position. Your goal is to have the most advantage over your opponents from the two cards that are dealt. By having the best possible hand (better than your opponent’s) you will have the best chance of winning the pot.

In most situations the two cards that are dealt are fairly obvious. They are the Ace of Diamond and King of Clubs. As Blackjack players you should already know that you have the Ace of Diamond and the King of Clubs in your hand. If either player has an ace in their hand, you can fold because you have no chance of getting the Ace of Diamond or the King of Clubs and in fact will be folding even if you do get these two cards.

As you learn how to play blackjack as a dealer, you may notice some subtle differences in how you handle certain situations. For instance, you may notice that when you are dealt a straight flush you always raise the bet, regardless of whether the cards are in your pocket or not. In some situations this will work and be good, but as an overall rule it does not.

Some experienced Blackjack players feel that you should always bet the more value card (the Ace or the King) when you are dealt a straight flush. This is because if you have an Ace of aces and your opponent has a straight, then you have a better chance of having an Ace or a King that equal the total number of cards in the pot. However, this strategy will work best when there are fewer cards to deal with, such as in multi-table tournaments. In these situations your best option will be to fold, unless you have an Ace or King that you can activate and get additional chips from.

It is important to also be aware that when playing that you should always play slowly and carefully. When you are dealt a winning hand always act like you want to take the whole pot and do not worry about how many cards are left. When you play against skilled players they will often call before the flop and then play their last card before folding. When calling they may also raise the bet if the opponents left it and only bet the amount of the call. When playing against slow players, it is important to call early and often, if possible you may want to raise the bet to the maximum that you think your opponents will have left and then just fold afterwards. In addition you should consider what kind of game they are playing and how much time you have left to make your decision.
